Tatorugon (Dragon Turtle) Design

For the design take I actually used a traditional dragon turtle statue as my base reference and sculpted from that. While adding a more traditional Chinese look than Japanese, it was very important for Tatorugon to look very ancient and mythical rather than grounded and a realist turtle. I also did use some seahorses and real life sea dragons as reference to give Tatorugon a sea like look and like he’s covered in algae or seaweed since this Titan is found more near the beaches or trenches of the ocean.
