Titanus Tiamat (Comic Version)

Here is my take on the comic version of Tiamat. I absolutely love Tiamat and she’s my favorite creature design in the MonsterVerse. d0pep0pe did such a fantastic job designing Tiamat and gave three community a very unique kaiju design in the MonsterVerse. It’s so sad and a shame she never got the respect or time to shine on screen since Tiamat is the best creature design in GxK.

For my design I decided sculpt the comic version of Tiamat. This version can be the male counterpart which can be a great way to bring another Tiamat into the MonsterVerse films where Godzilla and Na Kika team up against this version of Tiamat.

While sculpting Tiamat, I incorporated a lot of Japanese and Chinese mythology elements into design making Tiamat much more eastern dragon like. I also incorporate wolves and foxes into Tiamat’s head since a lot of eastern dragons are depicted from those animals while taking influence from Koi fish.

As much as I had fun with the sculpt it doesn’t beat d0pep0pe concept art and design. So I have a huge respect for DopePope’s design🙏
