Shin Godzilla 1st Form Concept

Here’s my take on Shin Godzilla’s 1st form. I’m not really sure if there’s an official design concept for Shin’s 1st form other than his tail we saw in the movie. My design is actually took some inspiration from other fan art pieces then bend it to my style.

For my design take I wanted to do something more on the grotesque and mutated look. I used cookie cutter sharks as my main inspiration since they’re one of the few animals I’m actually afraid of haha. I took away the goofy googly eyes and replaced them with more of a blind zombie look. The eyes are based from cookie cutter sharks. While the design heavily aquatic based and influenced by cookie cutter sharks, it was still important that it had some resemblance to Godzilla’s pre evolved forms. I also used the Xenomorph chest burster as influence as well.
