Feudal Japan Dagahra Redesign Concept

Dagahra is definitely a bizarre monster in terms of its design in a good way. It’s been years since I’ve watched the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy, so I can’t really say I know much about Dagahra in terms of his character and his abilities. Other than that he is pretty cool and in my opinion, he’s kinda like an aquatic SpaceGodzilla. Would you like to see Dagahra return?

For his redesign, sticking to the original look, I was going for more of an aquatic dragon design. I used a bunch of koi fish as reference especially around the tail area. Just like Emperor Ghidorah, I wanted Dagahra to have a majestic look instead of making him look pure dark and evil. Now I’m not really happy with the face because his face kinda looks like a mix of a bat and cat even though he does have dragon qualities around the face. And with all my designs, definitely need to have the Japanese look and made sure Dagahra looked ancient.
