Feudal Japan Godzilla Design- ゴジラ

Feudal Japan Godzilla concept design. Also know as FeudalGoji.
This was a really fun personal project I wanted to do for a long time. I wanted to design my own Godzilla in terms how I envision him. Because Godzilla is Japan’s monster I wanted my design to scream Japan and decided to incorporate eastern dragon like features on Godzilla. I wanted to design Godzilla what he’d look like as an eastern beast. Most Easter dragons have like whiskers and I know Godzilla isn’t a dragon but I wanted my design to look more eastern like. Still sticking to a traditional Godzilla design and silhouette, I did incorporate some designs of the 54 and millennium Godzilla as well. Because Final Wars Godzilla is my favorite suit, I based the face design of my Godzilla from the 2004 Godzilla. Another element I added on for my design that says Japan was I added the Japanese sun on Godzilla’s forehead which glows red when provoked or charging his atomic breath.
