Titanus Amhuluk Concept Art

Here’s my take on on another Monsterverse Titan Amhuluk. I’d say this was an interesting sculpt mainly when I was planning out how to display Amhuluk’s legs. It’s a really cool design but a very weird one in terms of how the legs are designed. I do like it’s design and it’s a refreshing one since it’s not just some big animal. I actually used Spiral Studio’s Amhuluk statue as a reference on how I wanted to pose my design and sculpt his legs. Would you like the see Amhuluk in the MonsterVerse films?

For this design I used design elements from Dark Souls, Elden Ring and Bloodborne to get that scary and fantasy look for Amhuluk especially since this is a monster that’s made of trees, roots and vines. For the head I referenced different rodents but mainly used goats and deers as inspiration for the head. Honestly the design kinda resembles a Wendigo haha. I had so much fun with this one and it’s definitely up there as my most detailed sculpts. Since this monster is purely organic and based of off trees and roots, I didn’t had to worry that much on the anatomy or accuracy of the details.
